For every member of our family, Washington Baptist is a special place! It is a place to learn, grow, serve, and a place that we feel loved! We have 6 children (ages 3 to 14) and each one has a place to "belong" at our church. They have fun, they feel valued, and most important, they learn God's word! There are so many activities for them to participate in, and the leaders are dedicated and caring.
During our time at Washington, we have been blessed in many ways. Every member of my family has grown in their relationship with the Lord. We have developed priceless friendships. Our love for missions has grown because it is emphasized at our church.
Christ is the focus of everything we do, and that is what makes our church special to me! My ten year old said, "I just feel like God is with me when I am there!". I certainly agree....when I am there I have such a strong sense of His presence! We truly love our church, our church family, and our staff and we are thankful that we can call Washington Baptist "home".
